1. Executive Dashboard

The main Dashboard gives you an executive financial snapshot for the selected month:

  • Monthly Income: Sum of all income recorded for the current month.
  • Total Expenses: Sum of all spending logged for the month.
  • Remaining Balance: `Income - Expenses`. If positive, it shows your net surplus. If negative, it alerts you of a net deficit.
  • Savings Amount: Positive net remaining funds saved.
  • Savings Rate: Percentage of monthly income saved.
2. Adding Income & Expense Entries

To Record an Income:

  1. Click the green + Add Income button on the top bar or Income page.
  2. Select the date and income source (e.g. 💼 Salary, 🚀 Freelance, 🏠 Rental, 📈 Investments, 🎁 Other).
  3. Enter the amount (e.g. 150,000) and optional description, then click Save Income.

To Record an Expense:

3. Trial Sheet (Trial Balance)

The Trial Sheet lists all Debit (Expense) accounts and Credit (Revenue) accounts for audit and balancing:

  • Debit Column (Dr.): Contains all category spending totals.
  • Credit Column (Cr.): Contains all income source totals.
  • Balancing Line: Calculates net surplus or deficit so total debits equal total credits.
  • Use the date filter to audit weekly, monthly, or yearly accounting ledgers.
4. Financial Balance Sheet

The Balance Sheet displays your formal Statement of Financial Position:

  • Assets: Cash & liquid bank savings accumulated over time.
  • Liabilities: Outstanding loans and credit card liabilities.
  • Owner's Equity: Accumulated net worth (`Assets - Liabilities`).
  • Fundamental Rule: `Assets = Liabilities + Owner's Equity`. An audit badge verifies if your statement is balanced.
5. Category Spending Budgets

Keep your spending on target using the Budgets section:

  • Go to Budgets tab and click Set Category Budget.
  • Select a category (e.g. 🛒 Groceries) and enter your monthly target limit (e.g. Rs. 30,000).
  • Real-time progress bars update automatically:
    • Green: Under 80% of budget limit (Safe).
    • Yellow: 80% to 99% of budget limit (Warning).
    • Red: 100%+ over budget (Alert).
6. Dynamic Currency Switching

You can switch your active display currency at any time directly from the top navigation bar:

  1. Locate the coin icon dropdown Currency in the top menu bar.
  2. Select your desired currency (e.g. Rs. (PKR), $ (USD), € (EUR), £ (GBP), ₹ (INR), AED, SAR).
